Future Sexy Robo-Queen

I saw these linked by io9 today and went to pieces over them.

In order: meh, like it, love it, LOVE IT. The last on the right is wicked awesome. Consider me inspired. Topshop Unique goes on my mental checklist of win.

  1. For me, first one looks like post modern bag lady, kind of Starwars costume department reject, Second one I love and when I lose the weight, I could so see myself wearing, just with different shoes. I've totally got the legs for that dress. Those shoes so don't go with that dress, I mean the lines are hard, and geometric, while the dress isn't. The shoes totally clash!

Third one I think no matter how much weight I lost, would make me look frumpy, so I couldn't pull it off. I thing if the boots weren't so wide it could be awesome. I could see you puling it off, especially since I could see you in those boots.

Fourth one, just whoa! Cool. Plus I could so see you in that outfit, you'd look utterly amazing! Plus the fact you're a little taller than her would add to the lines. I think you'd need pads though to get that severe an angle to the shoulders. No, I'm not even kidding here. Yours aren't nearly as bad as you think they are. Anyway, I could see you in that outfit. Totally. You really would look so completely amazing. I know, I've got the whole advanced CAD/Holosuite thing in my head and just put you into that outfit. Oh my! Trinity eat your heart out, you are so last century, Ariel is here and the force is with her!

  2. The first looks more Babylon 5 than Star Wars to me, but I agree it was definitely rejected. :D

Don't you think the colors on that second one probably pop out more in person? For some reason I get that feeling when I see it.

Third -- the skirt line and the boot line with the exposed thigh together have anti-frump power. The only problem for either of us here is that the one in the photo is probably the only one that exists in the world, and the model is probably a size 2.

Fourth, I cannot comment without totally spinning into fantasy because I am still way overweight. In that outfit I would look like this. I was thinking more of the style for a character of mine. It's something I can print out and place in my Acheron City picture/storybook for a certain club denizen/diva.
